This week I was 17th overall Ligue 1 (8th L1/E3)  >> Results

This w.e. I went to Condé-en-Brie (near Chateau-Thierry in the Champagne area) with 2 friends for an Enduro loop of 43km which had to be ridden 5 times. The terrein is very rocky in Condé and when it rains just a little bit it gets extremely slippery in no time. It was a fun round course with technical passages through rocky river beds alternated with passages through the forest and paths around the hilly country side with nice views. However, concentration was demanded at all times, because the paths where quite rugged...real Off Road Riding.

The first 3 laps we had dry weather, but then it got interesting...Rain. The 4th loop was extremely slippery and great care had to be taken. I managed to finish the loop just in time for tanking and started the 4th lap. However, after 4km and the timed special stage the Race Organizers decided to stop the Race because it was getting too slippery. A wise decision and all in all a nice sporting Enduro day with changing climatic conditions. As expected quite a Hard Enduro with a lot of Riders abandonning as can be seen from the Results.
