The ground water is always very close to the surface at an Enduro in Borculo, in the dutch province Gelderland. The town lies between the two rivers Berkel and Slinge going to the Ijssel. So a bit of rain the night before always garantees a technical and challenging Enduro with quite a bit of mud. Many times the Borculo Enduro is cancelled a couple of days before, but this year there was mud racing, it rained nearly the whole of round 1, see for yourself:
